Soulful sulking

Life’s a tragedy, ever so strange,

You glide over potholes of happiness,

And get drenched when jealousy rains.

There are storms of anger,

And flashes of guilt,

Drums full of fond memories,

Sulking moments with time do wilt.

Has it ever occurred to you?

Or is it just me,

Good times come in carefully measured parcels,

While bad times are handed out graciously …quite free

Then of course,

there are rays of hopeful sunshine,

On those gloom filled cloudy days,

Occasionally even a rainbow,

That makes u stop n say…

Well life’s not so bad after all.
