A Child’s Pray

Dear Lord please answer my Mommy I pray,

She has no idea what I have in store today.

I’m going to jump, and dance and throw things around,

And wreak havoc with my squealing shrill sound.

I’m going to stretch and run and hurt my leg,

And Mommy’s going to need a neat Rum peg.

For you see I will grow up in the blink of an eye,

And I need to create memories I can savor over chai.
